About Me
Hi there! I’m Kelly. I’m a birth doula supporting families in north central West Virginia. I live with my husband and four children in Bridgeport. We are a homeschooling family and love spending time in nature in the beautiful hills of West Virginia.
I’ve given birth to four kids of my own, and each birth was totally unique and transformed me in its own way.
My own experiences with birth filled me with passion for helping other women through this incredible journey. Giving birth is a profound, miraculous experience — and I believe it’s a time when women should feel completely, incredibly supported.
On my own journey, I have experienced hospital births, an unplanned home birth, and a water birth in a freestanding birth center. I was supported by a doula for two of my births and experienced the power of having a wise woman beside me, holding my hand and helping me through.
Although I draw on my experiences and education to support families, I believe deeply in honoring each woman’s individual story and needs. I’m here to listen, to really see you, and help you have the best experience for you and your baby.
My Mission
To support women in their innate ability to birth with calm strength and confidence.
You already have everything you need within you for an empowered, beautiful birth. I’m here to give you the information, presence and support you need to walk fully into that confidence.
My vision is for my clients to look back on their birth experience feeling deeply connected to their baby, and deeply connected to their own strength and wisdom.
My Training
I am a certified birth doula through Childbirth International. If you’re using a reimbursement program for doula services, I can provide you with a copy of my certification.
